Facts and figures

Currently the association “Rossecker” has:

  • around 650 supporting members
  • 5 traditional dance groups (3 children’s groups)
  • 2 plattlerist groups
  • 60 active traditional dancers
  • over 50 child participants

Weekly practices for the children, youth, plattlerist and adult folk dance groups are held at our clubhouse. Members of the “Rossecker” also have leading positions in various other dance-related associations in the province.

  • 32 members have achieved the Gold Award for folk dance
  • over 150 have Silver and Bronze Awards
  • about 50 performances at home and abroad
  • the most active Folkloristic association of the town of Bruck an der Mur
  • the most successful Styrian Folk dance group with the youngest average age
  • over 5000 hours of commitment to Styrian Folklore
